Letting go of ourselves can seem like such a simple task. 
Being honest with ourselves does not seem like so much to ask.

Relinquishing our fears and building a healthy self respect.  Is a method of cleansing the mind, an attempt to uninfect. 

It will challenge your energy and everything you are all about.  But the rewards of the journey will make you want to shout.

To yourself in a loving and peaceful way.  Bringing us an internal peace that we choose to carry with us every single day.  

THE EGO

It’s funny what life may bring

in its not so funny ways.

Days of wonder, days of bliss,

even ordinary days. 

Somewhere along the road,

we can lose touch with what’s inside.

So we build our walls, we build em’ high,

to have a place to hide. 

To hide and not to seek

out the sources of our pain. 

Is like staying inside just to avoid the rain. 

With dampened spirits and

a misconstrued self respect. 

Losing control is a scary thing, a set up for the inevitable wreck. 

Driven by the ego, a drunken sailor at the wheel. 

Let self esteem be your designated driver, a true friend to keep you real. 

Being true to ourselves and those that we surround.

Helps keep us connected to the source to lead us homeward bound.
